Welcome to the McMaster Econ Alumni page!
As graduates of our various educational programs, you are vital ambassadors for the Department in industry, government and the non-profit sectors. We want to stay connected with you, and keep you apprised of the activities and successes of the Department and its students, staff, and faculty. We would also like to hear about your own activities and successes. Please share your contact information with us and forward the link to this page to your former classmates so that we can keep in touch with even more alumni. Finally, we value your input about how we can improve this page and our communication with alumni. I invite your comments and suggestions.
Best regards,
Marc-André Letendre,
Associate Professor and Chair
Econ Alumni Events
Past Alumni Events:
- McMaster Economics Alumni Reunion: June 2016 in Ottawa
- The Department hosted its first ever Graduate Alumni Reception for current and former graduate students, faculty and staff in Toronto on May 28, 2015 prior to the CEA meetings. It was a great success. We had alumni from as far back as the mid-1970s through to last year's graduates and current graduate students. People really enjoyed the chance to see old friends and re-new acquaintances. Building on this success, we plan to hold another alumni reception next year at the CEA meetings in Ottawa.
- On May 22, 2015 we invited alumni to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Masters in Economic Policy Program.

Give back to the Department
The Department of Economics Fund has been the grateful recipient of alumni donations for many years. The funds have been used to support necessary initiatives in the Department. In the future we would like the Fund to help with alumni events, such as bringing in alumni speakers.
